Although this is the time of the year when the typhoons come in, don't let it spoil your fun.
Boracay is still a top contender and a favorite choice even for those who have already visited the place. Although it isn't summer time, expect a lot of people flocking this place. It's still a nice place to visit with parties every night, great food and beaches.
If you are looking for a more serene place. Try bohol (panglao island). The water is crystal clear. Then make a quick stop at Cebu to enjoy the nightlife at Banilad or other places where there are parties.
Even if there's less sunshine, I'm sure it won't spoil your trip like me. I'm off to Palawan in a few hours for a business trip and a little leisure while I'm at it
Cheers!

go to subic, it is easy to get to from manila only 3 hours or less. the weather is mostly better than other parts of the Philippines in uly. the mountains that forms a horseshoe around the land side reduces the effects of winds and pushes the majority of large storms further north.

Panglao Island, it's like Boracay 15 years ago. The Visayas aren't as prone to rain this time of year compared to Luzon/MIMAROPA
