Do you and your family love the great outdoors? White Water Rafting, Tubing, Kayaking, Hiking, Biking, Horseback Riding?
How about a trip to the beautiful North Georgia Mountains of Blue Ridge. There you can rent a cabin with all the ammenities so the kids don’t feel like they’re leaving anything behind (wireless internet, satellite TV, DVD, VCR, and Cell Phone Reception)!
I have a upscale mountain cabin rental. 3 bdrms, 3 bath, 3 levels (bdrm and bath on each level for the comfort & privacy of all), huge game room with pool table, poker table, LOG checker board table, and a custom cedar top wet bar. There are 3 fireplaces throughout, one being a wood burning on the screen porch complete with a 6 person Hot Tub! The mountain views are year round and truly incredible!

What about a cabin rental up in the Great Lakes?
You might try a city vacation in Nashville, TN
If you really want to go to the Beach, maybe try Virginia Beach this time.
Washington, DC is always a good choice.
Maybe even explore places in your own state. Tourist attractions that natives never do. If you live near Frankfurt, why not stay in Lexington, for example.
There is also the Carrowinds Theme Park near Charlotte, NC, and Busch Gardens near Williamsberg, VA. Williamsberg itself, could be a fun trip.
Want a big city? Do Chicago.

there is a really nice place in s.c. called edisto island, we went there last year,its not really big or busy, theres lots of beach space, you won’t have to race to the beach at dawn for a spot, but you will probably have to camp or stay in a small cabin on the island. it does look a little like a ghost town at first, but its beautiful and relaxing, its about 20 miles away from hilton head island

We go to Gulf Shores, Alabama every year. It’s near Panama City but more family oriented than the “Spring Break” cities. We’ve been going for years and love it. The rental prices are reasonable and the beaches are beautiful.
