I've been to both places and the rates are fairly inexpensive, with pretty good amenities. However, for a family of eight it might be difficult to find a really low rate. It;s really inexpensive to go there for a week for 2..............I don't know for 8 but the Island touristic part is beautiful and food excellent.....they usually have the buffet style with food and drinks 24 hrs.
