What To Do On Vacation Near Catalina/long Beach?

Were traveling to Catalina for our honeymoon next month (driving from Vegas) and will be on Catalina for a few days and have a few days we’d like to spend in CA but don’t know whats either close to Long Beach or not really far away that would be fun to see/do
