There's miniature golf on the inland side every block, plus this great breakfast place called Mary's with a beachy theme. Along the boardwalk side there's plenty of little shops to go in, plus a small amusement park, places to fish (the pier), plus lots of vollyball in the sand. There are often vollyball tournaments being played. The boardwalks are concrete, so a lot of people take advantage of the bike paths marked on it for biking, rollarblading, etc. It actually very safe at night, at least on the beach side up near 5th where we stayed. Within driving distance are a large number of restaurants, the Lynhaven mall is about half an hour away, and there are a couple movie theaters close by.
