Students Want To Go Down South For A Beach Vacation, But Where?

Three friends and I want to go down south for a beach vacation at an all inclusive resort. Where is a good place that would be cheapest on air fare? We would be flying out of Toronto, On. Also what is a non-busy time to go south?
