I don't know about the seperate vacations (that kind of sucks) but I do know that if my hubbies ex was going on the same trip with him it would drive me wild. I guess it's insecurity and the thought of this cozy cabin and you guys coming in from the cold... having to many "ciders". I completely see her point of view. As for the vacations... why can't you take turns? One year go to the mountains and when you are there make a point of explaining that there are spas and hot springs to go to and relax together. Then when it's her turn go to Mexico but take some time to do repelling, or zip lining. I am sorry but I completely understand why your gf is getting so upset.
