i lived in florida for over 30 years, and i can tell you that lido beach just below sarasota is a good spot, you are close to armands circle where there is lots of eateries and shops within walking distance from motels, to wander in as well as a wonderful beach . my second choice would be venus beach about 2 hours further south,but they are a little more pricey. go have a great time, with your two year old.

Coco Beach is alot of fun and it has alot of fun stuff to do on it

well Disney World is really close to Cocoa Beach so maybe he would like going there and if you havent been there it is amazing but if that is too expensive for you guys you can go to Ron Jon surfs shop which has a camping area or picnic area and theres like a river where you can sit in a tube and just relax and I’m sure your 2 year old will like it alot there is a lot to eat at Cocoa Beach and shopping areas
