Panama City might be fun for you on the “Panhandle” Florida Gulf Coast. This is the kind of place families love with non stop stuff to do and a fantastic quartz sand beach. Its lively but relaxing. Kids love it.
The Flamingo Motel tel 850 234 2232 might appeal – rooms have kitchens and sleep two to six people. THere is a big sundeck with view of the gulf and nice tropical gardens and pool.
Wherever you choose down here will be good value.
