I feel the best beaches in India are at Andamans.. Serene and pristine…
If you are looking for a good beach near Bangalore, I feel Serenity Beach at Pondicherry is the best.. Followed by Paradise beach at Gokarna… (I believe, both these beaches are within 1000kms from Bangalore)

YES..Goa is the best and one of the most awarded place in india for its beautiful beaches and environment with lost of tourist and facilities like traveling, beautiful sight seeing, parties,night market ,night life rocks in goa, casino,water sports, adventure, boat house,ayurvedic spas,shopping is very cheap, u must visit it at least once then u will know it better.
