I Want To Take A Beach Vacation, But I Don’t Know Anyone Who Wants To Go With. Should I Go Alone?

I live in the midwest so I’d be going either to the North Carolina coast (where I’ve lived once before) or the California coast (where I’ve lived once before too).
Is it bad for a female to take a trip by herself? I’m sure I’d be kind of lonely BUT…I miss the beach!
