Omigosh! That is so funny and reminds me of way back in the day when I attended Catholic schools and used to hear the rumors about the pretty nuns and the handsome priests…..
Eons later I had a co-worker who was nun [out of her 'habit' by that time] and I was telling her about one of my favorite teachers in elementary school…turns out ‘they’ have a real ‘network’ and can find anyone! So she said she’d try to find Sister Angela [yes, that WAS her name...TRUE]…she came back later and told me Sister Angela had left the order [Dominican] to marry a former priest….
Ya’ think this joke was about THEM? LOL

Being a Catholic, I can tell you about the rumors that were flying about the nuns and the priest, and hanky-panky going on. I do know of a priest that did leave the priesthood in order to get married. It was a scandal in its day, and believe me the tongues were wagging. But abstinence is a real hard one to follow, and we are all only human.
