Family Friendly Beach Vacation Help Please!?

We are looking to go from Dallas to an upscale family friendly beach resort for Memorial Day. We would like for the place to have:
1. Plenty of kids actvities (maybe even daycare)
2. Upscale accomodations
3. Short flight of 3 hours or less from DFW
4. White sand beaches
5. Maybe a grocery store or convenience store nearby
6. Other attractions nearby
We know Mexico would be ideal, however, with the swine flu epidemic, we are hesistant to go there. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
