I would check out your state park….usually they have some good deals for cabins/houses that are far cheaper than renting someone else’s house or staying in a hotel….and they are private and in a state park. If you can’t find any, my state has some good ones:http://www.southcarolinaparks.com/

I loved going on my first cruise with my honey. It was a three day weekend cruise to Nassau in the Bahamas and Cococay, a private island Royal Caribbean has that is like a desert island – very cool. We’re planning our eighth cruise now.

You can take a nice 3 day cruise for under $1000 for the two of you. Or look for smaller coastal towns. They aren’t very touristy so they prices are more reasonable. Try Treasure Island FL and surrounding areas.
