Cannon Beach has a lot of art galleries that are great to explore. You can also find great Salt Water Taffy shops and kite shops, as the beach can be very windy. Haystack Rock in on Cannon Beach and provides access to tidepools and sealife you can see up close and personal. I highly recommend eating at the Wayfarer Restaurant for a romantic dinner on the beach.
Hug Point is just south of Cannon Beach and is a great beach park hidden away. The weather tends to be much nicer in this little area as it doesn’t get as much wind, it is definitely worth checking out, but arrive early in the day because there is limited parking.

Follow the signs from Canon Beach to Ecola State Park and Indian Beach. The turn to go there is right after you get into Canon Beach. They’re only a few miles north of there, and are two of the most beautiful beaches in Oregon. Actually I think Indian Beach is the most beautiful, and the drive is very scenic. Several movies have filmed scenes from there.

i’ve always found cannon beach to be very boring, it’s full of gift shops that i consider to be for old people, maybe it’s because everytime i go it’s with my parents but it still seems to be a very boring place. there is a pretty good art gallery there, and the beach itself is okay but there is usually a ton of people there which is kinda annoying.

you can go whale watching there, you can drive up north to seaside (lots of night life there, you can drive to Lincoln City to gamble, you can go down south to Tillamook (to the cheese factory) they have awesome ice cream. Ecola sate park is a great place to go see. They have lots of trails and light houses to see along the way, they have lots of places to eat and galleries to see. the beaches are so pretty at night when the sun sets.

yes, go north a few miles to seaside oregon. many things to do there, amusment park right on the beach shopping and restaurants. up the coast a little further is astoria, very scenic and historic. its where lewis and clark ended theyre historic trek, also great seafood.

oh its gorgeous!
walks on the beach, horseback ride on the beach, take those bikey thingys up and down the beach, go to the cute little gift shops.
if you havent already found a hotel, i strongly suggest The Ocean Lodge.
Its…amazing.
