Do not be fooled into thinking cruises are ALL inclusive because there are hidden charges you may not be aware of without reading the fine print. Inclusive usually means meals at the buffet, definitely not 5 star accommodations, and a small stateroom..You are usually charged an automatic 20% gratuity charge also. In the long run the beach vacation is probably a better deal. You also have to remember that on a cruise you spend most of your time at sea and will pay dearly for on-shore excursions. You might also check out websites in the area where you plan to vacation, usually chamber of commerces, that will make sublet condos or vacation homes at a discount which makes hotel rooms seem cheap. Also try to travel during the off-season. For example: Trips to the Caribbean, Hawaii and Mexico are much higher during winter months as opposed to autumn for example. You will get a better rate, be treated more personally and still enjoy the tropical weather.

Both would be awesome! Remember that not all cruises are all-inclusive, in fact, most do not include beverages (alcoholic or non). There are also some really great deals you can get on a true all-inclusive beach vacation package at a resort which is kind of like a cruise on land. I've done both and had a blast on each. I particularly enjoyed the complete worry-free vacation at the beach all-inclusive because you literally have NOTHING to worry about.
On the other hand, if you get a beach location with a kitchenette you could save some money by making your own meals - but, are you really going to do that on a vacation, remember that part.
Good luck and have fun! :)

I would do the cruise. There is a wide variety of entertainment and it has a lot more going for it than the beach.
The beach is one location with a few things to do and one romantic scene to share...But a cruise has all of that and more. More locations which each will bring a plethora of activities and sites to see and the romantic scenery is constantly changing
